We use moisture-blocking primer coats and schedule installs when concrete moisture levels are within acceptable ranges, which is why our floors hold up where cheaper installs don't.

The number we quote is the number you pay. The only exception is if we open the floor and find major structural damage requiring a concrete contractor — which is rare and we'll tell you upfront.

Light foot traffic is safe at 12–24 hours. We recommend waiting 48–72 hours before parking vehicles. Full cure (where the floor reaches maximum hardness and chemical resistance) takes 5–7 days. During Charlotte summers, cure can be slightly faster; in winter, slightly slower.

Yes — the entire floor needs to be clear for us to grind and coat properly. That means vehicles, shelving, and anything stored on the floor needs to be removed before we arrive. We work fast so most customers just pull everything into the driveway for 1–2 days.

Sometimes, but we always assess first. Old coatings that are peeling, bubbling, or poorly adhered need to be completely removed before we install new epoxy — otherwise you're just trapping the problem underneath. Our diamond grinder typically removes old coatings during the prep process. We'll tell you what we find during the estimate.

For most garages, Decorative Flake is our recommendation — it's the most popular for a reason. It hides tire marks and imperfections, looks great, and is the easiest to maintain.
